Vocal Festival Annen is an annual festival that takes place in the second weekend of June. The festival consists of three parts: Festival in Concert, Vocal Festival followed by Proms and Festival On Tour. A cultural initiative with the aim, on the one hand, of a cultural exchange between performing arts from one’s own and outside the region and, on the other hand, of offering the opportunity to present and get acquainted with the musical talent present.
Vocal Festival is on Saturday. During the day about 40 choirs will perform on various stages throughout the village. These days workshops are also given for young and old. In the evening is Festival Proms, a concert in collaboration with the Veenkoloniaal Symfonie Orkest and a number of participants.
Festival On Tour takes place on Sunday. Performances at various locations in and around Annen. Buses run between the locations to take you from one concert to the next. Enjoy the gems of performances, historical transport and beautiful locations.
